Xiamoi might be next in line for OLED panels. The company is in contact yet again with LG trying to seal a deal on OLED panels, which could be produced in time for 2016. The deal will give LG some needed business and provide OLED displays for Xiamoi, which can be used on next year’s handsets. This would make a nice improvement to Xiamoi’s Mi lineup. One could expect to see the new display type on some of Xiamoi’s future smartphones as early as the second quarter of 2016. We’ll let you know when the deal is made official.
